SICK Brits have been issued a warning over a ‘superflu’ medicine rip-off that means you’ll pay double the price.

An unusually early surge of the winter bug has unleashed “mayhem” in the run up to Christmas.

However, shoppers could be caught out buying cold and flu medicine to battle the illness – with some paying almost four times more for branded products to non-branded at high street chemists.
