Face-to-face consumer travel questionnaires with Thurrock borough residents
Objective
- Conduct face to face surveys with residents from across all areas of the Thurrock borough.
- The purpose of the surveys was to help inform the forthcoming LSTF programme for 2014/15, which aims to encourage travel by more substantial
Methodology
- The questionnaires were conducted across 5 days.
- Each research team were allocated separate areas, and completed door to door visits within their locations.
Outcome
- Our client required 1000 completed surveys, however, we provided feedback from 1123 participants.
- From the 1123 participants we surveyed, 72% of those confirmed that they had not seen the ‘Travel Thurrock’ branding before.
- The feedback we provided allowed for Thurrock Council to review the programme and make changes to any future schemes based around our findings.
