Face-to-face consumer interviews with shoppers in Romford town centre

Havering Council asked us to approach shoppers in Romford town centre. Our face-to-face interviews helped them to establish consumer shopping habits in relation to it’s market and the town as a whole.

 

Objective

  • Approach shoppers in Romford Town Centre and conduct face-to-face consumer interviews.
  • The aim is for our client to understand customer shopping habits, especially in relation to Romford Market and its context in the town as a whole.

Methodology

  • Assosia worked in conjunction with Havering Council to select the most appropriate locations/streets within Romford Town Centre.
  • Surveys were conducted across 2 days – a non-market day and a market day.

Outcome

  • A total of 690 surveys were completed in Romford Town Centre across all days.
  • Our feedback allowed Havering Council to understand customer shopping habits, especially in relation to Romford Market and it context in the town as a whole.

Results

  • Results were delivered to our client in excel format with pre-defined pivot tables, along with a full summary presentation.
  • All reports and photographs were uploaded to our clients dedicated DMS (Document Management Server) for easy, but secure access.
